🖤💛❤️ During National Sorry Day and National Reconciliation Week, our students participated in meaningful discussions about reconciliation, respect, and the importance of acknowledging the Stolen Generations. Students reflected on their role in building a more united future through a Reconciliation Hand activity and enjoyed learning about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures through traditional Indigenous games in PDHPE. Last week, 40 students across Years 10, 11 and 12 attended an informative presentation during recess to learn more about future study opportunities at Western Sydney University. 🎓 Mirna shared valuable insights into the HSC True Reward Early Entry Pathway, the Modular Learning Diploma Pathway, and the process of applying for scholarships, helping students better understand their post-school options. Students also discovered the many opportunities available beyond academics, including interest groups, wellbeing and personal support services, as well as exciting international exchange programs. 🌏 We are incredibly grateful to Mirna for sharing her time, knowledge and personal experiences studying at Western Sydney University, giving our students a genuine insight into university life and future possibilities.

A huge congratulations to Year 10 students Ella and Kaitlin on their incredible achievement at the ICU (International Cheerleading Cup)! 🌍📣 Ella and Kaitlin were selected to represent Australia in both AAUP and AAUH divisions, an amazing accomplishment in itself. After an intense two-day competition, both teams proudly brought home 1st place in the world 🥇🏆 As two of the youngest athletes on their teams, Ella and Kaitlin embraced this unforgettable journey with gratitude, representing their country with pride while forming friendships with athletes from across Australia and around the globe. Celebrating Curiosity and Achievement! 🏅 At today’s Curiosity Assembly, we proudly presented Bronze Awards to students across the School of Curiosity and celebrated two outstanding recipients of the Silver Award. Congratulations to all students recognised for their hard work, growth and dedication. Year 1 also delighted the audience with their Presentation of Learning, bringing their classroom experiences to life through creative costumes, acting and narration. It was a fun and engaging showcase of all they have been learning this term! Congratulations to our Year 5 student, Mollie S.! 🌟 We are incredibly proud to celebrate Mollie’s amazing achievement at the NSW State Championships, held on Sunday 17 May, where she placed 3rd in NSW for Tumbling! 🤸‍♀️🏅 Mollie is also a proud member of the National Squad, and at her previous competition, she qualified to represent NSW Team. Day 1 of Year 6 Camp – Canberra! 🇦🇺 Our Year 6 students have officially arrived in Canberra and are already having an incredible time! 🙌 Today, students stepped back into Australia’s political history with a visit to Old Parliament House, where they explored the importance of voting and the role democracy plays in shaping our nation. 🗳️ They also visited the Royal Australian Mint, discovering the fascinating process of how Australian coins are designed and made. 🪙 A fantastic first day full of learning, exploration and fun — and we can already tell they’re having the best time! 💙
