In Exercise and Sports Science, our teachers organised an opportunity students to discover that they it is possible to work in professional sports without being a professional athlete.
Meeting via Zoom, the class met and heard from Bernadette Chehine, General Manager of People & Performance at Cricket NSW who opened them up to the world of possibilities of a career in professional sport, from Human Resources to Accounting to Physiotherapy to Marketing.
This is just one example of how our College is providing students with a variety of flexible and personalised pathways into a potential career.
We’d love a chance to show you how learning works for young people at Santa Sophia Catholic College. Read through our website or book a tour!

π Our First Family Mass in Our Newly Dedicated Chapel Today, we celebrated our first Family Mass with our youngest students, our Kindergarteners, in our newly dedicated chapel. Fr Walter began by introducing the children to the sacred items used during Mass and the vestments worn by priests, helping them gain a deeper understanding of the Catholic tradition. Our Kindergarten students were wonderfully reverent throughout the celebration, participating respectfully and wholeheartedly in the liturgy. It was a beautiful opportunity to nurture their faith and strengthen their connection with our Catholic community. π #FamilyMass #SantaSophiaCommunity

Last week we celebrated a truly special moment in the Faith life of our school community - the Rite of Dedication of our new altar and chapel. πβ¨ It was a beautiful celebration of faith, community and our shared Catholic identity as we gathered together in this sacred space. May our chapel be a place where our community continues to gather in prayer, encounter Christ and celebrate the Eucharist together. A very special milestone for Santa Sophia, and one we are so grateful to share with our students, staff, families and parish community. β€οΈ βHow lovely is your dwelling place, Lord.β β Psalm 84:1 ποΈ Watch the livestream recording on our YouTube channel - Link is in compass #RiteofDedication #NewAltar #CatholicChurch #SchoolChapel Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese
