A school with a difference!
Our Open Days in March were almost fully booked out within a week of opening up the bookings, and after hosting hundreds of families at our Primary and Secondary campus over two days, we were inundated with enrolments for 2022.
The two days were an opportunity to showcase what makes Santa Sophia Catholic College different - from the learning and teaching style to the Christ-centred culture cultivated within the school community.
Although the families were only able to see our temporary sites in Schofields and Rouse Hill, by the time their child begins their learning journey at Santa Sophia, we will be at our permanent site at Box Hill.

Year 11 RYDA Excursion π Our Year 11 students recently attended the RYDA Road Safety Program, engaging in interactive sessions focused on road safety, wellbeing, and the real risks facing young drivers and passengers. π On Monday, we held our first House Spirit Day for 2026 β and what an incredible start it was! The day was all about building house pride, strengthening connections, and sparking a little friendly rivalry amongst our students. With plenty of energy and enthusiasm, our House groups came together for an engaging session to kick off an exciting year ahead. Our Year 2 students recently showcased their learning through a fantastic presentation on the impacts of harm in our ecosystems, particularly in our oceans ππ Through creative reenactments, students explored the perspectives of marine life, learning about what ocean creatures need to live long, sustainable lives and the challenges they face. Last Friday some of our students represented the school with pride and gave their best efforts at the PDSSSC Cross Country held today at the Sydney Equestrian Centre. Students competed across a variety of distances including 3km, 4km, 6km and 8km events, demonstrating determination, resilience and outstanding sportsmanship throughout the day.
