Being a new school, our students are a significant part of our foundation, and we are so excited that our Year 9 Music Class will be taking part in the special task of writing our school song.
To begin the process, Year 9 Music sat in a video conference this morning with renowned Australian composer, Ann Carr-Boyd. They workshopped "What makes a good song?" and specifically "what makes a good school song?"
Ann Carr-Boyd is a prominent composer, best known for a short piece for mandolin ensemble titled Fandango, frequently heard on radio, inflight entertainment, in concert performances and in arrangements for other instruments.

A huge congratulations to Year 10 students Ella and Kaitlin on their incredible achievement at the ICU (International Cheerleading Cup)! ๐๐ฃ Ella and Kaitlin were selected to represent Australia in both AAUP and AAUH divisions, an amazing accomplishment in itself. Celebrating Curiosity and Achievement! ๐ At todayโs Curiosity Assembly, we proudly presented Bronze Awards to students across the School of Curiosity and celebrated two outstanding recipients of the Silver Award. Congratulations to all students recognised for their hard work, growth and dedication. Year 1 also delighted the audience with their Presentation of Learning, bringing their classroom experiences to life through creative costumes, acting and narration. Day 1 of Year 6 Camp โ Canberra! ๐ฆ๐บ Our Year 6 students have officially arrived in Canberra and are already having an incredible time! ๐ Today, students stepped back into Australiaโs political history with a visit to Old Parliament House, where they explored the importance of voting and the role democracy plays in shaping our nation. ๐ณ๏ธ They also visited the Royal Australian Mint, discovering the fascinating process of how Australian coins are designed and made. ๐ช A fantastic first day full of learning, exploration and fun โ and we can already tell theyโre having the best time! ๐

Our Year 10 Spirituality Day was an incredibly engaging, reflective and faith-filled experience for all involved. ๐โจ We were privileged to welcome Samuel Clear as our guest presenter, whose authenticity, humour and powerful storytelling captivated our students throughout the day. Through meaningful conversations and personal reflection, students were encouraged to think deeply about relationships, purpose, faith, compassion and the impact they can have on the world around them. Samuel inspired our Year 10 cohort to step outside of themselves, embrace connection and consider how they can be a source of hope and positivity for others. It was wonderful to witness the enthusiasm, openness and maturity shown by our students as they embraced the experience so wholeheartedly.
